DUBAI, UAE — WINA, the global festival for independent advertising, once again named the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the host country for this year’s awards ceremony. The ceremony will take place on June 09, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Dubai. In addition, the WINA organization has announced that, for the 2023 edition of the festival, there will also be a second event in the Americas, where winners from the region can participate in an awards ceremony closer to home. This option is intended to save winners the trip and time needed to travel thousands of miles to Dubai.
Bogotá (Colombia) has been selected as the regional host city, with the Grand Hyatt selected as the official venue. One week after the ceremony in Dubai, regional winners of the 2023 edition of the WINA Festival will be able to claim their awards at this event in Bogotá, which will be held in parallel with Referentes 2023.
Referentes 2023 is an event organized by Tomilli.com – one of the festival’s media partners – that will bring together the leaders of the Hispanic advertising world for a day full of content, trend analysis, awards, special dinners, cocktails, and networking. This event will include winners, from the Americas, of the world’s leading creative festivals, to share their experiences over the course of a day that will bring together the top advertisers in the region.
It should be noted that entry to the events in Bogotá and Dubai is by invitation only: tickets will not be available for sale.
