MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Candid Coffee aims to be an established coffee company that creates value in people’s lives with a good cup of coffee that elicits fond memories, engages good conversations, and brings together the community. It is not just your typical local coffee shop, it prides itself on varieties of coffee, made unique with distinct tastes and witty descriptions.
The dream started when Lanz, the owner of Candid Coffee, explored a stove-top to roast coffee in his backyard. There were a lot of positive feedback with it; thus, Candid was born. Candid first started selling hand-roasted coffee at a local farmer’s market in the city, the Sidcor Sunday Market.
It then sprouted the idea of going to different places – to be able to give access to more people and share this new experience of drinking coffee without it being complicated and expensive.
