MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – Global digital agency DEPT has joined forces with social media management platform BIGR Social to design and develop a mobile application that uses AI to automate social media management for small businesses. With its early access launch in May 2024, BIGR Social wants to change how small businesses manage their social media, ushering in a new era of efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation.
BIGR Social uses AI to analyze a business’ existing online presence and automatically generate personalized posts that include a caption, image, and hashtags — all scheduled for the best platforms, days, and times. This takes the pressure off small business owners, allowing more time to manage other aspects of their business while their social media is handled efficiently and reliably.
DEPT’s demonstrated expertise in digital product design and deep understanding of AI technologies makes it the ideal partner to build cutting-edge AI-powered automation solutions for BIGR Social needs. To generate social media captions, the AI will adapt to the tone of voice of each business based on information it learns from the business website and any existing social posts. In the first stage, the AI will not generate any visual content; instead, it will use images that already exist on the business website or social media or prompt owners to take images similar to the example it provides.
