MANILA, PHILIPPINES — A recently published study by global beauty brand Dove titled “The Silent Epidemic of Damaged Hair: The True Story of Filipinas’ Crowning Glory” revealed that 99% of Filipinas inadvertently damage their hair every day, and 76% have yet to find a solution that works and lasts.
Of all the numbers and percentages in this study, one stood out the most — 82% of Filipinas remain hopeful that, when all is said and done, hair damage will not prevail. It can actually be reversed.
This is what Dove proved in its second edition of Dove Care Labs.

Unlocking the future of hair repair
Dove Care Labs 2024 was jam-packed with ways for women to find the ultimate solution to hair damage. From the hair assessment, Dove girls found out the current condition of their hair. Through the 4D immersive installation Revelation Tunnel, they found out the story of how everyday practices such as combing the hair (wet or not), blow drying it, tugging at it, going out into the sun; to the more complex hair routines such as coloring and bleaching can damage the hair.
The biggest treat yet was a hair makeover session with Dove Girls experiencing the Dove Bio-Protein Care range.
