MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Community and collaboration are at the forefront of Kindred’s mission. As the first hybrid women’s clinic in the Philippines, building relationships and a community of kindred spirits is crucial in ensuring “health for all womankind” – Kindred’s central goal and tagline.

For Women’s Month 2024, Kindred’s overarching campaign was called “That Kind of Woman.” As women are often judged and scrutinized for every little move they make, whether they are “lacking” in any particular way or are deemed “too much,” the campaign #ThatKindofWoman reclaims the phrase instead. The campaign celebrates all versions of an individual, helping them see their potential and to become “that kind of woman”whoever they may be.

In an effort to help women feel like their most confident and empowered selves, Kindred’s services, from doctor consults, to IV drips, immunizations, and health packages, are at a discounted rate all month long for greater accessibility.

The campaign also encouraged women to see how important it is to lift up the women around them, in order to succeed with an army of women in their corner. To put this into practice, Kindred held several co-marketed community classes throughout the month with Soulspace Yoga, Rockwell Atletica dance, and Electric Studio

To cap it all off, Kindred engaged the community with the second installment of its annual Flow with Kindred event on March 23. Following the success of last year’s rooftop yoga session, Kindred partnered with NEO Offices once again to hold an even bigger and better mind, body, wellness sunset flow and meditation event.

NEO is the first office developer in Southeast Asia to achieve the WELL Equity Rating, developed by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), across a portfolio of seven buildings. At NEO, physical space is valued in promoting inclusivity and ensuring that everyone feels valued, acknowledged, and listened to – a mission aligned with Kindred’s, most especially during this women’s month.

The event kicked off with a yoga session suited for beginners and certified yogis alike, followed by a sound healing and meditation break. Thanks to partners such as Bubu Bars, Isabels, and Six Pack Chef, guests were also nourished by snacks and refreshments afterwards, and were encouraged to stick around and chat with fellow participants as they awaited raffle prizes from like-minded partner brands: Shape Active, Halia and Certified Calm, to name a few.

With over 100 attendees – a mix of new faces, loyal patients, partners, and supporters – it’s safe to say that only bigger and better things are coming for the Kindred community. “Having these community events helps us see how our hybrid, online-to-offline approach unfolds in real life,” said Kindred CEO and Co-founder Jessica de Mesa. “This is an important reminder for us to keep doing what we do, so we can reach more people where they’re at and invite them to join in on our cause.”
