LONDON – An interesting new campaign from Droga5 London was launched conspicuously close to last week’s infamous “Brexit” from the European Union. A satirical website promoting the notion to “Make the World Wide Web British again” was launched featuring “John Britain,” a man representing the United Kingdom.
John Britain’s observations and posts wonder why the world wide web seems to be dominated by every other culture except the British.
Britain invented the World Wide Web and since then other countries have been filling it with stuff that isn’t even British. Like the Eiffel Tower. This isn’t right. We are being pushed out of our own creation. This is a grassroots movement to reclaim the internet for Britain.
