Campaign Spotlight: Applebee’s salutes “Regulars” in new brand campaign from Grey

NEW YORK, USA — This week, Applebee’s launches a new brand campaign from Grey called “The Regulars,” the commercials salute real, everyday patrons for their loyalty and consistency during a time that has been anything but regular.

Americans from all walks of life, from Little Leaguers to firefighters and senior citizens, are seen living their lives, sharing a meal and a connection.

Applebee’s commercials, known for music that grips people’s attention and evokes emotions, features the famous “Cheers” television anthem in the latest work.

It is the first campaign from the casual-dining chain, with 1,600 locations, that does not feature menu or special deals. The campaign will run during the NFL playoffs this month and on prime-time programming.

Last summer, Applebee’s partnership with country star Walker Hayes and his hit “Fancy Like,” which talks about date night at the restaurant became a viral and sales sensation.
