Bangkok, Thailand,  October 30th, 2018 – GREYnJ United has launched a new campaign “No Heart Feelings” for Tecnogas, a renowned Italian kitchen appliance brand, since 1952.

Though the brand has been in the Thai market for decades, because of its name, it is sometimes mistaken for other products.

GREYnJ United and Tecnogas Thailand teamed up with HubHoHin Production to produce a moving ‘relationship’ story that would make the brand stand out for its high quality while also re-establishing the brand in the consumers’ minds.

The film is directed famous Thai director Bangjong Pisanthanakun and was shot in Italy.

It tells a story about a couple at a point in their relationship when they start questioning their future together. The script fuses love and food, the two elements that everyone can easily relate to. Most appliances are functional and therefore presented by lauding their benefits and performance (of the appliance only).

Grey’s creative team approached it differently. This kitchen appliance is about cooking and bonding, memories and relationships. So much more than just its functional attributes.

They felt they could connect the brand to consumers through their tagline The strong design. The tagline was redefined to show it also has another deeper meaning – to strengthen your relationship -a‘strong design for a strong relationship’. Tecnogas’s appliances are designed to last. A trait every relationship seeks -that which is meant to last.

The film aired on YouTube and Facebook in Thailand.

Quote From Film Director Bangjong Pisanthanakun:

When I heard about the concept of the film, an emotional film based on a relationship instead of a product film, I jumped in with no hesitation. It’s been a long time since I did a bittersweet film such as Oneday, so I felt like this is an idea I wanted to be involved with.”

Bangjong Pisanthanakun is a Thai filmmaker and screenwriter. He saw early success with his first two films, Shutter (2004) and Alone (2007), both horror films that he co-directed and co- wrote with Parkpoom Wongpoom. Since then he has directed films in a variety of genres, including the 2010 romantic comedy Hello Stranger, the 2013 comedy horror romance film Pee Mak which became Thailand’s highest grossing film of all time, the 2015 romantic melodrama film Heart Attack and the 2016 movie One Day.
