UEFA Champions League games are arguably as best as football can get. No doubt each action-packed round will get your heart pounding as you root for your favorite teams. Heineken and Publicis Italy wants to remind everyone, however, that a game can get even better when watched with your favorite group of people too.

In this hilariously lonely video made together with Iconclast Paris, different modern-day scenarios are painted on how individuals now enjoy a game, which usually means streaming it online if not watching it at the local pub or within the comforts of your own home. In one scenario, a girl inside a ship at the middle of the sea cheers on her favorite team, but at the height of the moment sees a pictures of her friends and remembers she’s alone. One guy, in disbelief, also starts asking no one in particular “Did you see that?”, only to be answered by his virtual voice-command assistant Alexa. Our favorite though is a guy who thought he was about to be the receiving end of high five from a fellow fan, only to realize the guy was just reaching over to get a bottle of beer.
Set to a looped version of “All By Myself,” the video builds up expectations of ecstasy and sportsmanship only to be hit hard with comically packaged awkwardness and loneliness. This ad definitely makes the viewer want to be surrounded by friends and family just in time for football season.
