Campaign Spotlight: Jollibee 40th year jingle and MTV by McCann Worldgroup Philippines features its most joy-filled anthem yet “Apat na Dekada”

In celebration of its milestone 40th anniversary this 2018, Jollibee in collaboration with McCann World Group Philippines, recently released its newest and most joyful jingle yet complete with a music video.

Entitled ‘Apat na Dekada”, the joy-filled and heartwarming song composed by Thyro Alfaro of Loudbox Studios was interpreted by two of the best all-around performers in the country, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo. More than just a catchy LSS-inducing tune, the anthem reminisces the simple joys and colorful journey shared by the country’s number one and beloved fast food chain with Filipinos across generation. Its special music video was directed by Mike Talampas and Nick Santiago of Provill Studios. 

Jollibee Global Brand Chief Marketing Officer and PH Marketing Head Francis Flores shares, “For our 40th anniversary, we wanted to celebrate and look back at our journey particularly how we’ve become part of the lives of Filipinos who experienced and shared our joy. Apart from its highly entertaining, groundbreaking and game-changing television commercials and more recent made-for-digital short films, Jollibee has also been known for its most unforgettable and iconic jingles through the years. These include classics like “Bida ang Saya”, “I Love You, Sabado” which have become a part of the soundtrack of practically every Filipino’s childhood to more recent jingles like “Buhay Pamilya’, ‘Dito Pamilya Tayo’ and its 2016 Independence Day jingle “Ang Sarap, Ang Saya Maging Pilipino!”
