Summer in the Philippines isn’t just about staying fresh under the scorching hot sun, it’s also about relaxing with a cool drink in hand and the radio playing in the background. This scene is painted perfectly by Old Spice’s first big campaign in the Philippines – Outsummer Summer – with Ali Peek.
By introducing a radio idea through film, agency Publicis Singapore invites you to tune into radio stations that didn’t exist… until now. The campaign branded radio frequencies that play nothing but static and labelled them descriptive names that instantly take listeners to a much cooler place, even if it’s just through sound. Inspired by the white noise craze on Youtube where people listen in to concentrate and relax, the campaign combines static SFX with refreshing visuals and comes up with a pretty cool result (pun intended).
