As it culminates its 110th anniversary celebration, Manulife Philippines launched today a campaign to express gratitude and give back to its customers. The campaign will see Manulife giving gifts to 110 loyal policyholders.

“Since we issued our first policy in the Philippines in 1907, Manulife has protected thoursands of Filipino lives with our innovative financial solutions,” said Ryan Charland, President and CEO of Manulife Philippines. “Through this campaign, we show our gratitude for our loyal customers’ enduring trust and strengthen our commitment to continue helping them achieve their dreams and aspirations.”

The campaign was kicked off by Filipino celebrities and Manulife brand ambassadors Sarah Geronimo, Richard Yap, and James Reid creating special moments with some Manulife customers.

Sarah surprises Ronald, a business man with an advocacy of promoting literacy by building container van libraries across the country.

“I was inspired by Ronald who has made it his mission to give back to those in need. It is an honor to be given the opportunity to let him know how much his efforts are appreciated,” said Sarah.

Meanwhile, James delivers a gift to Melanie and Richard, a couple who never had a chance to go on a honeymoon because they had to prioritize medical treatments for their firstborn.

“There is no greater love than a parent’s, and this is why I find Manulife’s gift for Melanie and Richard Especially meaningful. It recognizes the great sacrifices parents make for their children,” shared James.

Lastly, Richard presents a gift to the Camilian Sisters of Marikina, who run a school for children with special needs. He also surprises Mr. De Dios, an 88-year-old policyholder, who has been a client since the 1970s and ensured that his children are protected with Manulife policies as well.

“Being a father, I empathize with the Camilian Sisters’ desire to create a nurturing environment for the children under their care,” said Richard. “I also see myself in Mr. De Dios, who spent his whole life ensuring his children will have secure futures. I am happy to have been invited to take part in this giving activity by Manulife.”

Following these surprises by Sarah, James and Richard, Manulife Philipines will bring more gifts to policyholders in the coming days, until they have delivered 100 Thank Yous.
