MANILA, PHILIPPINES —The Philippine arm of global life insurer Manulife recently launched “Now Boarding,” the company’s new digital film that encourages Filipinos to see the value of resetting their goals in life and embracing new beginnings, even in the face of uncertainty.
Available for viewing on Manulife Philippines’ YouTube page, the new digital film tells the story of unwitting passengers passing through airport security, where they meet a tough “insecurity officer,” who meticulously inspects baggage contents before allowing entry. During the screening process, travelers reveal various insecurities, doubts and fears mysteriously hidden inside their luggage, which they intend to bring with them as they start a new chapter in their lives. The film emphasizes that the path towards the life you want to live takes self-belief and courage, and requires letting go of unnecessary baggage, even when uncertain about what the future holds.
“With the disruption brought by the pandemic, everyone sought safety and security, and this led many to put their goals and dreams on hold. Despite this significant challenge, we’ve seen how Filipinos revisited, refocused and re-evaluated their priorities and plans, working hard to get back on track. Our Filipino spirit has kept us moving forward,” said Melissa Henson, Chief Marketing Officer of Manulife Philippines.
“As Filipinos get ready to hit the reset button, Manulife is here to help bring them closer to their goals and set themselves up for success, so they can live everyday better,” Henson added.
To those who want to financially secure their future, Manulife Philippines continuously innovates its product suite and services to be more accessible to many Filipinos. For more information, visit www.manulife.com.ph or add them on Facebook www.facebook.com/ManulifePH .
