MANILA – Everybody dreams of a job that can help them grow individually and professionally. In its latest recruitment campaign video entitled “Heroes”, McDonald’s Philippines shares the career journeys of three of its employees, Colleen Vargas, Anthony Punay, and Mae Ann Suante. While each of them came from different professional and educational backgrounds, they all discovered their full potential when they became McDonald’s Manager Trainees, and later, Restaurant Managers who oversee restaurant operations and lead their own teams.

Through world-class training programs and learning opportunities provided by McDonald’s Philippines, a recipient of the “Best Employer for Commitment to Employer Brand” and ”Best Employer for Commitment to Generation Y” distinctions at the recently concluded AoN Best Employers Philippines 2017 Awards, these employees grew as confident leaders armed with the skills and ability to inspire the next generation of managers and staff of one of the most successful corporations in the country and across the globe.

In 2017 alone, McDonald’s has hired close to 1,000 Manager Trainees nationwide to complement its aggressive store expansion plans. It aims to hire over 100 more before the year ends. With the “Heroes” video, the company hopes to encourage fresh graduates and young professionals who would like to enter the food industry to be part of the McDonald’s family—a company that goes all out so its employees can be the best that they can be.
