With the Philippine national voter registration deadline right around the corner, MullenLowe Philippines created an internal company effort called #NationalSickLeave — sponsored sick leaves that employees could take so they can go out of the office to register.
Abi Aquino, MullenLowe Executive Creative Director, shares, “We wanted to create a solution that would address the inertia that we were sensing. This started in our own backyard, but we hope that many other companies will implement #NationalSickLeave as well.”
This was well-supported by MullenLowe Philippines’ President and Chief Creative Officer, Leigh Reyes. On her post about the campaign on her Facebook page, she mentions, “At MullenLowe, we believe that registering to vote is one of the most concrete powers we have to help build a better future. Small actions add up to big, lasting impact. Take #NationalSickLeave and help the healing.”
