MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Game and Brand Experience Design Agency Octopus&Whale lost no time in welcoming the new year, unveiling a brand-new partnership with blockchain development company BayaniChain. Having built their shop on a philosophy to approach creativity with a spirit of play, O&W is one of the first agencies to venture into the metaverse.

“As Octopus&Whale, we are excited to dive into the OpenSea,” says O&W Founder and Chief Creative Joey Tiempo. “This year, we are setting out to create our own NFT brand – and BayaniChain is going to give us the support as the cryptocurrency pioneers in the country. We believe that by proactively learning about emerging tech and testing it out ourselves, we can share better insights to our clients who are interested in it.”

The first NFT collection from Octopus&Whale will feature the 200 known species of Philippine shark, including the rare ones, and a portion of the proceeds will go towards research and conservation efforts for these sharks.
