Campaign Spotlight: PLDT Home’s ‘Do It Better’ campaign with DDB MNL celebrates Filipinos’ power to thrive amid lockdown

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The pandemic may have locked us Filipinos down in the confines of our homes, but in ways we did not expect, it has also unlocked our hidden potential.

Over the past year, Filipinos have become savvier at working, learning, selling, and even coming together online, no matter the occasion. With the help of the internet, we have discovered and mastered the power to make life at home better.

Such is the spirit of ‘Do It Better.’ Created in partnership with creative agency DDB MNL, PLDT Home’s new campaign celebrates how Filipinos thrived amid lockdown and learned to do everything better at home—working, streaming, studying, winning, earning, and living—with the Philippines’ Fastest Broadband.

Headlining the campaign’s launch video is the Soriano family—award-winning actress and host Toni Gonzaga, accomplished director Paul Soriano, and their lovable four-year-old son Seve.

Amidst lockdown, the Sorianos managed to work, learn, earn, and bond better while staying safe at home, thanks to their strong and reliable internet connection. Toni mastered virtual hosting, while Paul helmed shoots remotely. Seve, meanwhile, enjoyed learning experiences without even having to go to a classroom—just from educational videos and games.
