TEL AVIV-YAFO, ISRAEL — In honor of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (November 25) and to raise awareness among Israelis everywhere to domestic abuse, Publicis Glikman Netler Samsonov collected 6 testimonial stories written by women staying at the “Bat Melech” shelter for abused women.
Publicis Glikman Netler Samsonov turned those testimonials into e-books and published them on Israel’s leading online e-book platform and app “E-vrit” and put them up for sale.
The titles of the stories were revealing in and of themselves:
- “It started with a slap”
- “Beating men don’t have horns”
- “Ever since then I hate flowers”
- “I discovered a different person”
- “I was forced to sign a contract”
- “Maybe one day he’ll change”
All of the revenues generated by selling the books will be donated directly to the women of the “Bat Melech” shelter for abused women, from whom the testimonials were collected.
