Campaign Spotlight: Sweetshop Launches Emotional Film for Volvo Cars China, in Partnership with Tomorrow Shanghai

SHANGHAI, CHINA – Sweetshop Shanghai has partnered with creative agency TOMORROW and Director YC Tom Lee to launch a candid film for Volvo Cars China.

This is a film about how Volvo Cars employees are not just people who make cars, but who share the same value as those who drive a Volvo. The character-driven film tells emotional stories about employees from an intimate angle, as they work hard and continue to strive to be the best in life.

The voice over reflects Volvo employees seizing the day, moving forward with dedicated focus. But it reminds them not to let life pass them by and that work and family are of equal importance.

The approach of the film is focused on visual storytelling. A cinematic approach conveys the emotions of the story through the actor’s performance and the cinematography.

YC Tom Lee said, “And this is what this film is about. Bringing to life the passionate, and dedicated people who excel both in their work and personal life.”

The film is dedicated to Volvo Cars employees and car owners, partners and friends.
