From Cannes to Cannes: Palm d’Or winner Raymond Red screens “Himpapawid” to fly Young Creatives to the South of France

The Creative Guild of the Philippines and PelikulaRed present Cannes Palme d’Or winner Raymond Red’s latest opus “Himpapawid”  (Manila Skies).  Inspired by true events, the film is a simple man’s journey into the bowels of Philippine society that culminates in the insane hijacking of a plane.

From the depths to the heights, “Himpapawid” promises to be another great moment in Philippine cinema.

With the prestige of being the closing film in the most recent Cinemanila, “Himpapawid” has also been in the Official Selection of various international film festivals, including Tokyo, Dubai and Rotterdam.
