PARIS, FRANCE – For the third year in a row, Steve is collaborating with the NGO Vision du Monde for its call for sponsorships, which this year takes a new approach.
Vision du Monde is an international solidarity association that helps the most vulnerable children. It is a member of the non-governmental organization World Vision, the leading child mentoring association in the world.
By supporting a child, you are helping to improve his or her living conditions in a concrete and sustainable way by providing for his or her basic needs in the areas of health, education, access to safe water and food. It also means contributing to the development of the whole community. It’s therefore a simple way, within everyone’s range, to eradicate poverty.
Vision du Monde has been proposing sponsorship programs in 12 countries for several years. Until now, each future godmother or godfather could choose her/his godchild or let Vision du Monde propose one.
From now on, the NGO is launching the #Chosen project to allow children to choose the future godfather or godmother who will accompany them. A way to allow them to act on their destiny by making their own choice, they who didn’t choose to have no access to water, to be married by force or to not go to school.
This new sponsorship complements the classic sponsorship system.
The #Chosen adventure is also an opportunity for Vision du Monde to reinvent its sponsorship campaigns. Steve therefore imagined a series of portraits of children who are masters of their destiny: “for once she decides”; “for once he decides”, entrusting the realization to the multi-awarded Argentinean photographer Ale Burset.
The portrait campaign started December 10th, in press and outdoor.
