COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – Anyone who has kids know that being a parent can be a tumultuous experience. In fact, keeping a household together can make most people dizzy at times, which is the setup for the new film for McDonald’s Norway directed by Eivind L., produced by Bacon and made with Nord DDB as agency.

Paying homage to one of modern time’s most iconic music videos – The Prodigy’s “Smack My Bitch Up” – the high-paced spot switches late night grit with the everyday madness of balancing work and family without completely compromising the tidiness of your home or your sanity.

Through use of pure POV, we are taken through a full day of picking up and bringing kids, keeping them fed and trying to stop them from painting the walls of the living room. As everyone gets a well-deserved dinner break at McDonald’s, we get both the pay-off (“Where Breaks Are Served”) as well as a very subtle nod to the final twist of the classic Prodigy-video.
