CEBU, PHILIPPINES — The Philippines is filled with wonderful sights for travelers to explore. From world-renowned beaches to breathtaking mountains, the beauty of the country’s nature is unmatched.

While its archipelagic nature contributes to the uniqueness of the beaches and makes for interesting adventures, it makes inter-island travel quite difficult.

Seeing this as an opportunity, Cebu Pacific is making traveling easier, faster, more affordable, and more convenient for VisMin locals with 21 new inter-island and direct international flights.

The convenience of air travel, especially with direct flights from Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Clark, is the heart of its new #FlyTaBai campaign.  With multiple direct flights daily, travelers from hubs like Cebu can fly to Manila or Davao from Cebu and return home on the same day.

“Visayas and Mindanao serve as the gateway to the world’s most beautiful beaches, colorful festivals, and vibrant cultures. We are excited to offer the traveling public more opportunities to explore our islands and connect with more communities. This also allows us to boost our hubs outside Manila that will help generate economic opportunities to support the country’s growth agenda,” shared Candice Iyog, CEB Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer.

CEB Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Candice Iyog shares how the additional domestic and international flights will help boost connectivity and make travel even more accessible and affordable for Davaoenos.

With #FlyTaBai, travelers from Visayas and Mindanao now have a fast and affordable option to get to their destination.

Dreaming of visiting Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore or Thailand? With direct flights from hubs in Cebu, Iloilo, Davao, and Clark, more will no longer have to make a stop in Manila to catch an international flight.

Travelers from hubs like Davao can now also experience shorter travel times to Hong Kong. Direct Davao-Hong Kong flights cut down eight-hour connecting flight time to only three and a half hours of direct flight duration, and for a lower cost.

To support this growth, the airline is set to accept a total of 18 new aircraft this year — 15 of which have already arrived. Cebu Pacific has also placed an order for up to 152 aircraft from Airbus — the largest aircraft order in Philippine aviation history — to be delivered starting 2029.

The introduction of new routes also opens up the opportunity for more travelers to enjoy the beautiful, award-winning airports at Clark and Cebu. We can expect more people flocking to these airports, rivaling the busyness of NAIA.
