Football legends Henry and Beckham surprise fans in new Walkers campaign by VCCP

LONDON, UK — Football legends Thierry Henry and David Beckham continue their search for Walkers, Britain’s most loved crisps, surprising fans with unique experiences in a new integrated campaign.

Walkers has reunited two footballing icons who, between them, have won almost every major trophy available, each of them a UEFA Champions League winner in their own right, for this new campaign. Part of Walkers’” No Walkers, No Game” brand platform, it will launch in the build-up to the UEFA Champions League Final between Dortmund and Real Madrid.

At the heart of the ad campaign is a stunt where genuine football superfans were recruited via social media for what they believed was a documentary for Walkers’ parent company, PepsiCo. The twist comes when hungry football legend Thierry Henry pops by to ask for his favorite Walkers crisps — one lucky family who helped him out got an extra surprise when they were invited to watch the UEFA Champions League with Henry and football icon David Beckham.
