MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Grab Philippines wants to make its transport and delivery services top-of-mind this Valentine’s Day. The solution? Partner with GIGIL Philippines to create a thumb-stopping short film and social media campaign.
In crafting the film, the team wanted to explore our tendency to procrastinate and even forget making plans for our loved ones during Valentine’s.
The film features a woman performing an incantation for her lover to be more thoughtful this Valentine’s Day. As she confronts her lover, actual balloons come out from his mouth as he attempts to tell her all his sweet and grandiose plans. The film depicts lovers as often being full of empty promises, especially during Valentine’s. And thanks to Grab, they can now turn their words into action–saving the day for late-gifters and procrastinators alike.
