Heineken launches cross-genre, cross-culture campaign ‘Refresh Your Music’ with The Chainsmokers

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Encouraging music lovers to explore different genres and immerse themselves in a refreshing new experience, Dutch multinational brewing company Heineken has teamed up with American electronic DJ and production duo The Chainsmokers for its latest campaign.

Conceptualized by creative agencies Le Pub, BBH Singapore, Leo Burnett Vietnam, and Leo Burnett Malaysia, “Refresh Your Music” is a cross-genre, cross-culture platform that allows fans of different cultures, tribes, and music preferences to come together to expand their music tastes. Through a collaboration, the campaign features Thu Minh and Karik from Vietnam, and Yunohoo and NYK from Malaysia who will refresh The Chainsmokers’s hit songs in their own unique style.

As Heineken tends to engage with its consumers through music, it also launched a website feature that allows users to combine their music preferences with a friend’s. The website then reveals what songs they are into together, and also introduces genres new to both.

To conclude the campaign, The Chainsmokers is slated to headline a pair of concerts in Asia for fans along with Thu Minh, Karik, Yunohoo, and NYK.
