MANILA, PHILIPPINES — This International Women’s Day, Love, Bonito empowers its community to be #FeminineAndProud with month-long activations themed around an encapsulating message, “Femininity is Power.” As a proud advocate of uplifting women through varying seasons of life, the brand’s campaign this year aims to inspire women to embrace femininity on their own terms, and redefine societal expectations of roles that were traditionally more female-centric.
Across the month, Love, Bonito will spotlight inspiring Asian women from varying industries, highlighting the ways that they have broken barriers in the fields of feminine health and wellness, female for future, and women’s rights. Customers can also look forward to the brand’s limited-edition International Women’s Day caps that aim to physically represent the many hats a woman wears.
“Femininity is, more often than not, defined by traditional societal norms. This International Women’s Day, it’s time we reclaim our power and embrace our personal interpretations of what being a woman means to us. When I first became a full-time entrepreneur, I was not taken seriously as a young, female trying to grow Love, Bonito to the global stage. I had a burning passion to pursue my dream, and saw femininity as my strength to take on any challenge – no matter how unconventional and how difficult,” said Rachel Lim, Co-founder of Love, Bonito. “I hope that my journey serves as inspiration for both men and women to break down gender norms, and ultimately, groom a generation where femininity is not just accepted, but celebrated and valued.”
Redefining Femininity Together
Immerse in the power of femininity with inspiring stories from women all around the globe. With a collective of women’s voices, Love, Bonito aims to amplify the message that women can live up to any definition of femininity, and be proud of living their identity to the fullest. Customers can contribute to the digital live gallery of user-generated pledges on the brand’s microsite by uploading a post on social media platforms ranging from Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to LinkedIn with the campaign hashtag #FeminineAndProud.
In addition, customers can make a bold statement with the brand’s limited edition International Women’s Day capsule cap collection. Featuring five tongue-in-cheek phrases, “On a Mission,” “Going Places,” “No Cap,” “Thinking Cap,” and “it’s my era,” each one seeks to inspire the wearer to take the “wearing many hats” expression to the next literal level.
The collection features four designs that can be easily paired with versatile looks for any occasion. This includes an individual slogan design, which comes in three variations as well as an alternative design, the “My Many Caps” option, which allows wearers to customize with a set of five detachable patches and embrace all slogans. The caps are sold from US$19 to US$25 online from March 06 onwards.
