MANILA, PHILIPPINES — McDonald’s has launched a special campaign with Gen Z icons, NewJeans.
Last June 01, McDonald’s unveiled the “NewJeans Chicken Dance Campaign” with K-pop group NewJeans. The first market to launch the campaign was Korea, with other Asian markets to follow. For the first time, a total of 10 Asian countries will take part in a universal campaign.
The “NewJeans Chicken Dance Campaign” was designed for global customers looking to enjoy delicious and special moments while further celebrating their fandom of NewJeans, who were unveiled as McDonald’s Korea’s brand models in March.
With the message of “A whole new crispiness that makes us dance, a whole new Chicken World,” the NewJeans Chicken Dance Campaign highlights the delicious moments McDonald’s shares with its customers. In addition to advertisements starring NewJeans, a special package features the image of McDonald’s symbol M logo, burger, French fries, and rabbit character for added specialness.
McDonald’s Philippines plans to reintroduce iconic chicken favorites 6-pc. Chicken McNuggets and McChicken solo now only PHP 99 each with the launch of the NewJeans Chicken Dance Campaign starting June 13, with various promotional events to follow. Exciting deals await exclusive only on the McDonald’s App such as the McChicken Medium Meal with Coke Zero and 6-pc. Chicken McNuggets with Fries Medium Meal with Coke Zero can be redeemed at discounted prices of PHP 139 and PHP 149, respectively from June 13 to June 30.
Overall, one can enjoy savings of PHP 30 with the 6-pc McNuggets solo and PHP 35 with the McChicken solo, letting everyone enjoy McDonald’s crispy deliciousness that will make them want to dance. And speaking of dance, a “McDonald’s Chicken Song” dance challenge will be a part of the campaign, with various prizes that await via weekly draws.
Following Korea and the Philippines, the “NewJeans Chicken Dance Campaign” will also be launched in Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Vietnam. All markets will air campaign advertisements featuring NewJeans and will offer special packages for certain chicken menus.
