New York Festivals Awards 2009 Chicago, BBDO World Wide and BBDO New York, Big Winners

Everyone’s kind of town, Chicago is.  And the New York Festivals Awards 2009 knows it, too.  The first ever 2009 World Tour of New York Festivals International Advertising Awards in windy Chicago presented the Network of the Year award to BBDO World Wide and the Advertising Agency of the Year to the BBDO New York, respectively.  The coveted awards is given to the company that produces the finest caliber of work, and the company that garners the most awards in the competition.  The awards gala and awards presentation were held at the historic Chicago Cultural Center

At the same ceremony, Hamburg’s kempertrautmann was honored with the newly minted New Agency of the Year Award.   The night’s prestige, however, went to 2009 New York Festivals Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, the legendary Chicago comedy director, Joe Sedelmaier.

Winner of the pioneer New Agency of the Year Award, is relative newcomer kempertrautmann.  “Becoming the first Global Newcomer Agency of the Year, selected by the renowned New York Festivals, is the ultimate reward – coming just five years after was established.  We would like to thank our staff, our clients, our competitors,” said Dr. Trautmann.

The brilliant award winning commercial director known for his quirky humor and off beat casting, Joe Sedelmaier, was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.  Sedelmaier’s client include FedEx, Wendy’s and Alaska Air.
