HELSINKI – To launch its newest cat model, C-HR, Toyota and Saatchi & Saatchi Finland is erecting the world’s largest selfie stick at what Forbes dubbed as the coolest music festival–Flow Festival.

Featuring artists like Sia, Massive Attack and Iggy Pop, Flow Festival is an uber hip music concert where selfie sticks are banned because they are obstructive in crowded places. Thus, the idea to install the Amazing Super-Selfie-Stick. It’s a 17-meter tall, hyper-real selfie-stick, equipped with a giant 4-meter wide smart phone containing a super zoom camera and huge screen.

“The idea is a Stick, the world’s biggest Selfie-Stick.  Because Selfie-Sticks are banned at Flow Festival, we will smuggle in our own Amazing Super-Selfie-Stick! And prove that Nothing Is Impossible!” commented Nazzareno Sifo, Creative Director, Saatchi & Saatchi Finland.

The Amazing Super-Selfie-Stick will be the world’s largest Selfie-Stick – the Guinness World Record is reviewing the idea – situated on the festival site so that revelers can capture their presence at the event, with the vast crowds and stage behind them.

The Super-Selfie can potentially capture some 10,000 people, which will make it easily the world’s widest selfie capturing a record-breaking amount of people (the previous world record for the widest Selfie was set in 2014 and contained 1,151 people.)

“It’s crazy. I love it.  Are you guys sure this idea can be really, I mean REALLY be done? Just make sure it’s the biggest Selfie-stick in the world,” exclaimed Janne Hällfors, General Manager, Marketing & Sales Planning, Toyota Auto Finland.

The installation of the Amazing Super-Selfie-Stick at Flow Festival will be the in many ways the biggest real-life marketing event in Europe for the new Toyota C-HR.
