MANILA, PHILIPPINES – After releasing a Circus-inspired shirt, Linya-Linya expanded their Eraserheads collab merch line by releasing a Cutterpillow album tribute shirt featuring the hit songs blended in the album art cover.

“A lot of our favorite songs from Eraserheads came from this album, and we just want to celebrate its legacy by releasing this shirt,” says Ali Sangalang, Creative Director of Linya Linya.
Eraserheads’ Cutterpillow, released in 1995, features their classics such as Superproxy, Huwag Mo Nang Itanong, Torpedo, Overdrive, and Ang Huling El Bimbo.

For Sangalang, launching a Cutterpillow tribute shirt is a no-brainer. “Mula sa 90’s kids, hanggang kahit sa generation ngayon– ang laking bahagi at impluwensya talaga ng music ng Eraserheads sa buhay ng mga Pinoy.” per Sangalang.
As a forefront in showcasing Filipino culture, Linya-Linya has worked with a handful of local music acts through hosting events and launching merch collabs. One of their most recents being a tribute shirt for The Itchyworms which was released last September 2020.

While this has been the fourth Eraserheads collab shirt by Linya-Linya, Sangalang hints that their partnership doesn’t end here as there will be more to come before the year ends.
