Brand & Business: Ampverse joins forces with digital asset exchange Bitkub and launches NFT store for esports teams

BANGKOK, THAILAND — Leading esports organisation Ampverse announces a partnership with Bitkub, Thailand’s biggest digital asset trading platform and blockchain tech company. The partnership will see Ampverse developing a suite of exclusive NFT products and experiences for the esports and gaming community.

This partnership signals Ampverse’s long-term strategy of acquiring and developing metaverse-related gaming assets. Bitkub will also become the official trading partner for one of Ampverse’s esports teams, Bacon Time.

A signing ceremony was recently held to commemorate the partnership between Ampverse and Bitkub, which will see the two organisations come together to launch a series of NFT stores for Southeast Asia’s top esports teams. Fans will be able to access these exclusive Bacon Time NFTs, esports player cards, and other fan collectibles via the website.

The esports industry is expected to reach $1.8 billion globally in 2022, with Southeast Asia among the world’s fastest growth markets. Thailand holds the title of second-largest gaming market in Southeast Asia, with over 67% of the online population (or 34 million people) identifying as gamers.
