MANILA, PHILIPPINES — HealthNow, the all-in-one health app developed by AC Health and Globe’s 917Ventures, has noted over half a million users nationwide in its first year of operations surpassing its initial target for the period.

HealthNow simplifies patient experiences with their healthcare services, which include easy access to telemedicine services, medicine deliveries, and urgent care hotlines.

Within its first 12 months of operations, the healthtech company has onboarded some 600 healthcare providers and more than 60pharmacy stores to support its operations across the country.

Through its innovations, patients can now easily book consultations with general practitioners and specialists via video calls, purchase over-the-counter and prescription medication for delivery, and centralize all medical records in one easy-to-use app. Soon, users will be able to book diagnostic tests for home service and have their lab test results interpreted online.

“We are extremely grateful to have achieved this milestone within our first year of service. Although the times have been challenging, our focus remains firm and unwavered. In support of the country’s vision for universal healthcare access, we will continue to extend the medical frontlines and bring our services to more Filipinos,” said Susana Beatriz Latay, CEO of HealthNow.

Latay also mentioned that HealthNow users can expect more ways to experience quality health services in the coming months.

Since its launch in August 2020, HealthNow has partnered with notable names in the healthcare industry nationwide, including immediate 24/7 health hotlines such as KonsultaMD, Lifeline, Hopeline, and pharmacies like Generika and diagnostics aggregator Dashlabs.ai.

Other partners include Healthway Multispecialty and Family Clinics, Qualimed Network of Hospitals, Mindanao Medical Center, Mendero Medical Center, Family Healthcare Hospital, ACES Eye Center, Centro Holistico, InfinitCare, MAGIS Creative Spaces, MindYou, Peregrine Eye and Laser Institution, ProHealth Sports & Spinal Physiotherapy, Scelto Medico, Spine & Orthopaedics Cebu, We Care Home Healthcare, Asian Square Dental, and Brightsmile Avenue.

“In line with their mission to solve the Filipino consumer’s pain points, HealthNow is able to do just that by allowing us to democratize access to basic healthcare services,” said Vince Yamat, 917Ventures Managing Director.

“We are proud to be working alongside AC Health in this venture, and we will continue to support HealthNow in its efforts to make Filipinos nationwide live happy, healthy lives,” he added.

For his part, AC Health President & CEO Paolo Borromeo shared, “We consider our partnership with 917Ventures as a step forward into building an integrated healthcare ecosystem that is more patient-focused. Through our joint-venture in HealthNow, we see more possibilities for forging synergies across our own healthcare network and beyond, that we may continue to serve the Filipino community and give them the care they deserve.”

HealthNow also powers the digital touchpoints for Ayala Group’s COVIDShield program, which aims to administer over 1M vaccines to employees and their loved ones across the Ayala Group and its partners.
