AMSTERDAM – International creative music agency MassiveMusic is encouraging everybody of all ages to slow down and get creative during Mental Health Awareness week by publishing a new colouring book resource, part of its #DontStopTheMusic campaign.

A positively overwhelming amount of personal battles, recovery stories and professional support is threading throughout social media feeds this week, to raise awareness on the importance of mental health. Exactly what we need, even more so now, considering the uncertain times we’re living.

Through its Music x Mind initiative, MassiveMusic has always encouraged music as a healing tool, but this time is combining it with the power of art and craft, by curating a music colouring book.

Colouring has been proven to have several mental health benefits, just like music. The time and focus that the activity requires can help anybody struggling with negative thoughts and habits by redirecting them into something positive, helping them in a safe and productive way… plus, it’s fun.

The colouring book can be downloaded via this link. The music agency will share people’s artwork (#minimasterpieces for a re-share) on their Instagram channel.
