MANILA — The Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP), the country’s premier digital marketing organization, is set to hold its second IMMAP digital congress to encourage marketing practitioners to level up their skills in the rapidly evolving digital industry.

With Digital Transformation at its core, DigiCon DX 2017 or “DX: The Culture of Digital Transformation,” will put the spotlight on culture as a means to help Filipino marketers adapt in this era of digitization.

Digital transformation is an important topic for business and one that is constantly evolving. However, as companies begin to move into digital space, cultural and organizational change management become essential keys to success.

Sponsor

“True digital transformation will touch every aspect and process of a business; it can never be about technology innovation alone,” shares DigiCon 2017 Chairman Eduardo Mapa, Jr. “It is about changing the way businesses create value for customers, and how people work. It embraces the transformation of people, organizations, operational processes, and customer relationships.”

A part of its 5+1 track offerings this year, DigiCon will present programs and activities that put focus on people and organization preparedness.

The Speakers

During this congress, experts and acknowledged regional and global thought leaders will discuss the leadership and organizational capabilities needed to become digitally sustainable. Among them: Google APAC Director of People Services DN Prasad.

Prasad is a multi-awarded HR professional and leadership coach. Having spent over a decade at Google, he heads the APAC operations’ Staffing, Staffing Process Re-Engineering, Campus Relations, Hiring and Programs, Talent Planning & Research, HR Operations, Employee Engagement, Global Immigrations, Employment and Internal Branding, Internal Communications, and HR Analytics and Diversity. He considers himself a “start-up” Human Resources leader, for experience in setting up teams and functions, across country, region or a global scale.

At the DigiCon, Prasad will give participants a peek into the organizational culture of Google, known to be one of the most innovative companies in the world. Beyond the cool office spaces and employee perks, the speaker will talk about how the global company continues to build a common culture of innovation, and how it fosters creative thinking across different functions.
