Hill & Knowlton appoints Ken Luce as Global COO

— NEW YORK, USA, JANUARY 2011 — Hill & Knowlton has announced the appointment of Ken Luce as global chief operating officer for the firm. He will report to Jack Martin, global chairman and CEO. 
 
In his role, Ken will direct the firm’s growth strategies and best practices for client services, marketing, and human resources. 
 
Most recently Ken was president global client management at Weber Shandwick where he developed global management programs and best practices for the firm’s multi-national clients. Ken has deep expertise in crisis, corporate reputation management, public affairs and marketing communications, helping to develop award winning global programs.

I believe his experience will be instrumental in continuing to target client service as our number one objective,” said Jack Martin. “In his more than 20 years in the agency and corporate worlds, Ken has the proven experience of building programs and establishing tried-and-tested alternative models of consultancy that deliver the best value and results to clients.”

Ken is an active member in many civic organizations, manages two 501(c) 3 non-profit foundations and has served as a guest lecturer for the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He also was chair of the organizing committee for the Big 12 Championship football and basketball events. Ken graduated from Southern Methodist University.
