MANILA, PHILIPPINES — It’s a turbulent time for the whole world right now as more and more COVID-19 news arise, and moreare urged to stay indoors. As a result, several are turning to the digital space to try and maintain a sense of normalcy during these times — including the yogis and yoga enthusiasts.
Manila-based photographer Sara Black is a well-respected creative and visionary in the beauty, fashion, and advertising community. On top of her commercial work, she also hosts yoga classes with I Go Beyond Yoga, and with classes being suspended, her and several other instructors are taking their sessions online as an initiative of the studio. Sara led a thirty-minute online meditation class early in the morning on Facebook Live, which was open to her I Go Beyond Yoga community, and anyone else who wished to join in.
Aside from her work with the yoga studio, she also opened her Himalayan Breathwork and Meditation Online courses for students who want to do a more regular class with her, specifically. As the course has been on-going since early this month and is currently halfway through, she’s offering it for half the price as well. Live streams on her platform are scheduled from Monday to Friday until March 31 at 7AM, which will also be recorded so students can practice on their own time. Those who will join the course will also have access to recorded instructional videos, recorded livestreams and wisdom talks.
For more details, she’s opening her Facebook inbox to any inquiries, as well as her email: liveawakeph@gmail.com.
