Fresh from the success of his "Burger, burger" series for McDonald’s, young director Carlo Directo has signed up with Media Circuit (MCI), a sister company of Provill.
With 88storey’s Sid Maderazo, Directo and fellow MCI director Jeorge Agcaoili were a trio of UP Fine Arts buddies who pulled each other into McCann-Erickson’s Coke group in the mid-1990s. There, they were part of a tight group working closely with Teeny (then Gozum) Gonzales in Creative and Susan Dimacali in Accounts, now ECD and Managing Director, respectively, for DDB and (surprise) "Burger, burger."
As a freelancer, Directo has also worked on spots for Globe, Talk & Text, Sun Cellular, KFC, Nissin, Maggi, Banco de Oro, HBO, ESPN, and SkyCable.
