MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Introducing #MoreWaysToVibe, Viber is calling out to creatives in the Philippines to enter LENS Create, a virtual search for the next Viber Lens.
Got some out-of-the-box ideas? Through LENS Create you can turn a smartphone screen into your own canvas. Filipino artist Jappy Agoncillo and the Viber Creative team will select and declare the final winning designs.
Jappy Agoncillo—whose murals liven up the walls of Manila—is one of the growing number of Pinoy artists experimenting with the confines of augmented reality (AR) through Viber’s AR-powered Lenses.

The muralist and illustrator has turned the screen into his own interactive mural, creating downloadable artworks that capture exactly how people feel: work got you feeling “lutang”? Express it with an out-of-this-world “Spaced Out” Viber Lens. Know someone who needs a personal cheerleader? Root for them like the fan you are with a peppy “You Got This!” Viber Lens.

Jappy isn’t the only one—visual artists like Anina Rubio takes her love for nature and turns it into interactive “butterfly kisses”, as butterflies flutter onscreen after blowing a kiss. Joining is simple: all you have to do is submit your artwork to the official Viber PH Community and get as many likes as possible.
The most liked entries will have a higher chance of winning, but muralist, illustrator, and Viber Lens designer Jappy Agoncillo and the Viber Creative team will hand-pick the final winning designs.
Winners will get special prizes from participating partners—selected designs will be turned into Viber Lenses and will be pinned as featured Lenses for up to two weeks.
Submit your entries starting November 5. The first batch of winners will be announced at the end of November. Winning user-created designs will be available as Viber Lenses by early December.
