Insight: 4As Malaysia launches a video collection of best practice tips for agencies starring specialist Paul Arnold

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) is launching “Advertising Insider”, a collection of video tips by specialist trainer Paul Arnold, a leading UK authority in Advertising.

“One of the core objectives of the 4As is to foster continuous professional development, for which we usually organise in-person workshops, boot camps, and talks. Whilst we work towards bringing those back in a modified format to observe social distancing, we would like to share these videos from our long-time collaborator and The Chartered Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) endorsed trainer Paul Arnold,” said Khairudin Rahim, 4As CEO.

“Arnold last conducted the “IPA Creative Directors Bootcamp” in February 2019, where 100% of the delegates rated the course as either ‘Very Good’ or ‘Excellent’. The 4As was granted access to the video tips as a result of the strong relationship with the trainer and IPA,” said Khairudin.

“Drawing upon his extensive career spanning nearly three decades in senior positions at global advertising agencies Saatchi & Saatchi and Grey, as well as from his training as a psychologist, Arnold has distilled these wide-ranging nuggets of best practice for both business development and personal growth, which go hand-in-hand,” added Khairudin.

The videos include advertising related topics such as “How To Define An Idea”, “Evaluating Campaign Effectiveness”, and “Getting The Best Out Of Your Agency”, as well as general business topics such as “Techniques In Strategic Planning”, “Managing Stakeholders” and “Storytelling In Organisations”.

Topics on self-improvement such as “Building Self-Belief And Esteem”, “How To Shift A Habit”, and “How To Work Effectively From Home”, as well as topics on people skills such as “The Art Of Delegation”, “Giving Feedback”, and “Managing Through The Power Of Coaching” are also covered.

The videos in the “Advertising Insider” series are each between 8 and 15 minutes in length, making them easily digestible, enhanced by Arnold’s no-frills and to-the-point style of delivery. The level of instruction is pitched at a general audience, and the range of content is suitable for everyone from junior executives to CEOs at Agencies and Marketers.
