Music: Daði Freyr, the rising star of the Eurovision that never happened with hit ‘Think About Things’

REYKJAVIK, ICELAND – With the unfortunate news that Eurovision 2020 was to be cancelled as result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the hopes and dreams of many of the contestants were put on hold. However, it didn’t stop the Icelandic entry Daði and his song ‘Think About Things’ from gaining an army of fans online and going viral on a stratospheric scale. The video for ‘Think About Things’ has already amassed 5million views and counting.

With its infectiously catchy chorus and humorous accompanying dance, it’s arrived at just the right time. Fans across the globe have been filming themselves following the now iconic dance routine whilst quarantined in their homes with their family and friends. It’s a craze that has even reached the attention of some of the world’s leading pop tastemakers including James Corden and P!nk, who have both been tweeting about the song and performing the dance.
