Tournament Format

The Free Fire Philippines Open will comprise three stages:
(1) Qualifiers – 5 July to 9 July
(2) League Stage – 20 July to 25 July
(3) Grand Finals – 1 August

The Qualifiers are expected to feature thousands of 4-person teams from across the Philippines. But only the top 12 teams will advance to the League Stage, where they will then be drawn into 3 groups. In each of the 3 groups, the 4 teams who made it via the Qualifiers will be joined by another 2 invited teams, for a total of 6 teams in each group and 18 teams combined for the League Stage. The teams in each group will then proceed to duke it out over 6 days, with each group’s best performing 4 teams to book slots in the Grand Finals.

All of the stages will follow similar competitive formats, with points awarded based on round ranking and the number of kills. During the Qualifiers stage, teams will compete across Bermuda and Kalahari. In the League Stage and Grand Finals, teams will compete to be the last one standing across all 3 maps – Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari.
