ANDYs 2020: W+K Shanghai, FCBIndia Group and GREYnJ United Bangkok Lead the Asian Wins at the ANDY Awards

NEW YORK – The winners for the 2020 International ANDY Awards have just been revealed, and as the first show of the advertising awards season, it regularly has been one of the most anticipated one each year as it serves as a predictor for what work/s will sweep the accolades in the coming months.

The ANDYs prides itself in celebrating bravery, innovation and contagious thinking that pushes the whole industry forward for over 50 years. It’s one of the most prestigious honors that any agency, advertiser, and creative can receive.

This year, three countries from Asia have made the list of winners, with a number of campaigns receiving recognitions, namely China, Thailand and India.

China has three winning campaigns, all by Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai for Nike: 2020 Chinese Year won GOLD in CRAFT, while two Beijing 99 initiatives also won GOLD in the CRAFT category.

 

Thailand’s GREYnJ United Bangkok won two Golds in the CRAFT and IDEA categories with its FACE/OFF campaign for K Plus.

 

Finally, India also has three wins, all from FCBIndia Group. Two were for its The Open Door Project campaign for The Millennium School, which won Gold in the BRAVERY and IDEA categories. Its Out and Proud Classified campaign for The Times of India also won Gold in the BRAVERY category.
