LONDON, UK – Vince Frost’s Design Your Life podcast of Frost*collective is partnering with the world-renowned D&AD Awards for a series of exclusive interviews with a selection of finalists from its prestigious Impact and Future Impact Awards.
Vince is excited to announce that he has entered into a partnership with London-based global design and advertising association D&AD. The collaboration will allow for some of the most recent, impactful and well-designed projects in commercial creativity to be circulated and promoted on a global scale. Podcast listeners will have greater insight into the inner workings and thought processes behind these fascinating projects, and the series will conclude with a live event recorded at the annual D&AD Festival in London May 19-21, where Vince and a host of other creative leaders will speak about and judge various works.
Frost’s Design Your Life podcast started in 2018 with the idea of discussing how design principles can be applied to everyday life. The podcast has included interviews with design leaders from all around the globe, such as Bruce Duckworth of Turner Duckworth, Sir John Hegarty and Matt Willey, as well as the co-founders of Deus ex Machina, Dare Jennings & Carby Tuckwell.
“I’m really excited for our collaboration with D&AD. Its Impact and Future Impact awards are a truly great initiative which give these thought-provoking projects the recognition they deserve and hopefully, alongside Design Your Life, a voice which can be heard around the globe.” – Vince Frost
Patrick Burgoyne, CEO of D&AD says “D&AD actively supports projects that use creative thinking for positive impact. In fact, this year, our Impact programme is being integrated into our main awards. I think this shows a shift in business, with practitioners increasingly using creativity to address a wide range of issues from environmental to social and economic. ‘Design Your Life’ is about bringing inspiring ideas to life, as is D&AD, so it’s a very natural partnership. We’re looking forward to this collaboration with Vince.”
The six-part series will kick off on February 25th with special interviews with:
– The Lion’s Share – FINCH
– See Sound – Area 2
– Harmless Guns – TBWA Paris
– S-Park
– Don’t Look Away
– Meet Q – The Genderless Voice
