MANILA, PHILIPPINES– The Indirectory, Manila’s directory of ad independents has wrapped up its first networking night on Friday, September 11.
To help freelancers get in touch with business owners, the platform hosted LET’S RAKET: The Indierectory Networking Night which was attended by 17 clients and 33 freelancers.
The Indierectory is an online platform that helps clients find freelancers to collaborate with on different projects.
“We felt the interest of clients and freelancers in holding something such as Let’s Raket. It seems like a small effort but joining the evening makes you feel your role and part in the community,” said Michael Balana of Gigil.
Currently, Indiepower is working to organize bigger networking events such as LET’S RAKET to accommodate more clients.
LET’S RAKET was organized by indie agency GIGIL, in collaboration with the 4As Philippines, Internet & Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP), Facebook, and PANA. The event is also made possible by adobo magazine and is powered by Soupstar Music.
