Events: OPPO Invites Filipino Photographers to Share their Stories on their New Program, “See Beyond” Creators Awards

OPPO announced a new program entitled the “See Beyond” Creators Awards, with the aim to support and inspire the new generation of Filipino photography lovers all around the world. Through a dedicated content exchange platform, the awards program’s goal is to encourage people to record their lives through images, to express themselves creatively, and to see beyond. Everyone is invited to share their stories through their expressive photos. The call for entries is already open, and interested participants can submit their photos until July 17, 2019.

Bigger opportunities to see beyond

The ”See Beyond” Creators Awards targets to identify and nurture talent for photography, allowing for greater creative expression through a combination of project funding, mentoring, and the opportunity to display work publicly through a series of activities.

Several popular creators, including Magnum Photos photographer Lua Ribeira, IPA Award-winning photographer İlker Karaman, and actress Chun Xia, were featured as special guests at the Creators Awards. They shared and discussed their work, particularly focusing on expression and creation.
