BEIJING, CHINA — Under the disruption of the industry caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, The One Club for Creativity, the world’s foremost non-profit organization recognizing creative excellence in advertising and design, has announced that One Show Greater China Awards this year will become The One Show Asia Showcase, where the best work will be free to submit and be showcased online for the world to see.
CREATIVITY IS A LIGHT IN THE DARK
2020 has turned out to be a difficult year for everybody. With the global pandemic and other chaos both political and social, the path in front of us has become dimmer.
However, it’s only during the darkest moments that you can see the brightest stars. A star that guides you when you’ve lost direction. A light that warms your heart on your way back home when you’ve worked late into the night. Creativity can be that star and light that gives direction and the confidence and courage to keep going.
The One Club believes great work still deserves to be recognized. Free submission can be made by going to showcase.oneshow.asia, deadline is September 30, 2020.

There will be no awards and no Gold, Silver or Bronze, but instead we will be presenting certificates to celebrate the work which has been selected to be in the One Show Asia Showcase 2020.

As most other advertising award shows are being put on hold, The One Club decided to expand the scope from Greater China to Asia*. We believe great work still deserves to be recognized, not only in Greater China, but all around the world. We will select and showcase the best works from the perspective of Asian cultural insights and the world standard.

The One Show always considers its high-quality, international juries as the perfect representation of its values. This year, we’ll have more creative leaders from Asia involved in the curation of the One Show Asia Showcase 2020, and they’ll select influential creative works while bringing in both international and local perspectives into the process.

In hard times, it’s more important than ever to uphold our nonprofit mission to support the creative community and recognize the people who worked so hard to create the world’s best work in the past year. Therefore, this year’s showcase will be free to submit. All of the costs for this year’s showcase will be covered by The One Club for Creativity and the One Club Greater China Office.
GLOBAL ONLINE SHOWCASE AND INTERNATIONAL APPEARANCE
The selected works will be displayed in the form of a worldwide showcase, so more people can see the great work from Asia this year. With the One Club’s global influence, it’s a great opportunity to get your creative work and your team recognized by the worldwide creative community.
