MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The first convention of the World Association of Master Chefs Philippine Chapter is set to be held in Dumaguete City from May 20 to May 22, 2022.
The World Association of Master Chefs is a professional chefs association with over 100 chapters worldwide, and its home base is in the Land Down Under, Australia.
The Philippine Chapter was approved and established in Dumaguete City in the Visayas in December 2019 by the Global Committee under WAMC Global President Gaven Ferguson, with Chef Carlo Andre Martin E. Baroa as the Founding Country President.
Plans were underway for the first General Assembly in April 2020 when the pandemic lockdowns started in March, and so here we are two years later and still going strong!
Join the upcoming event with the end goal of uplifting the standards of the Culinary & Hospitality Industry in the country. At WAMC, all the officers and teachers are chefs who are accomplished in their respective fields of specialization and employed by prime food establishments in the Philippines and abroad. A cursory background check on the roster will confirm this.
