PATTAYA, THAILAND — ADFEST is set to bring to the table a workshop revealing the secret sauce of mouthwatering tabletop imagery. Tabletop vs AI Workshop, presented by leading Tabletop Director and Director of Photography, EyeCandy, is for creatives who deal with tabletop imagery. It reveals how AI may be used to evolve and integrate demo parts more effectively into films and educates on the secrets of how to do this.
Tabletop vs AI Workshop will be held on March 21 at 2:30 to 5:30 pm. The workshop brings tabletop creatives up to date with an environment in which AI plays an increasing role.
“The future of advertising films that include demo and live-action segments ultimately depends on the seamless integration of both into the same storytelling,” EyeCandy noted. The workshop will explore how artificial intelligence can aid this process from the storyboard phase to post-production and show which tools to use and how.
EyeCandy is the alter ego of award-winning film director Greg Ferro, who works out of Milan and Bangkok. After building years of experience in live-action, EyeCandy became absorbed in his passion for tabletop films, super slow motion, and macro images. As a fanatic of film techniques, he experiments in his films with every type of composition, playing mainly with liquids and powders. He creates dynamic and spectacular demos and tells riveting stories with his images alone.
“The storytelling is the past, the present, and the future of our job, not just in live action, but also in tabletop. If we don’t tell a story every time, why do we do this job?” he said.
EyeCandy’s signature approach has become famous in production, with a fast-growing list of international clients such as P&G, Unilever, Nestlè, Eucerin, Diesel, Pepsico, and Ferrero. Whether it’s food, beauty or technology, that approach is always the same — maximum attention to detail to make each shot a possible “signature shot.”
Pre-registration is required, and applicants for the workshop must be registered delegates of ADFEST 2024. Seats are limited, so reserve your spot here.
