GrabAds celebrates its first Night Out at IMMAP’s Digicon Valley 2022

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — To celebrate the first ever collaboration of GrabAds with Digicon Valley 2022, the superapp hosted an  after hours party at the summit last October 10 at the Penthouse 8747, Makati City.

Opening the evening was Grab Head of Operations RJ Cabaluna who remarked how the night was only the start of a great partnership. This year also marks Boomerang Awards’ category presented by GrabAds: the GrabAds Super App Boomerang.

Jennie Johnson, Head of Marketing, GrabAds commended the entries submitted to the newest category.

“We’ve seen an explosion of innovation in superapp advertising. The Philippines is a center of excellence when it comes to creativity.”

She also shared her insights on choosing the finalists for the GrabAds Super App Boomerang.

“What makes a standout superapp campaign is that it actually takes advantage of all parts of the Grab ecosystem: payments, loyalty, deliveries, merchants, in-store pick-up, you name it and the sky’s the limit.”

Also present were GrabAds’ partners and clients. Kenny Rogers’ Roasteries Group Marketing Director Lorent Adrias, told adobo magazine how Grab powered them throughout the pandemic.
